If the only modification to the exhaust system is the change in restriction of the choice muffler... does the ECU need to be "re-mapped"? With the remainder of the exhaust system stock; ie w/ O2 Sensors in place... wouldn't the ECU compensate for the change in exhaust flow?

Someone re-assure me! :devil

Any time you change the air intake or exhaust you push an already lean engine more in the very lean direction. You really need to know for sure what your current engine condition is then check it after any mods to know if you need to remap it. I'm in the process of working with Punch to get my ECU mapped for my K&N air pod filters and LeoVince exhaust. The bike had a DP ECU on it when I bought it but the horizontal cylinder was extremely lean and the vertical was extremely rich so just testing by sticking a probe up the mufflers won't give you a true indication. You need to map both cylinders to do it right.
Good luck.
