The motors have different stroke lengths therefore they have different cylinder lengths and different length header pipes are required. For example the 620 monster has a bore x stroke of 80 x 61.5 while the 900 has 92 x 68. That is a stroke difference of 6.5mm. So the header pipe will need to be that much longer assuming the ports are in the same position. This is for a full system of course.easyrider said:I have na 02 620ie and I am wondering what the difference is between a 620, 750, 900. Why do some cans fit all and other fit exact? year, make, model?
What exactly didn't fit about them? I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't because Ducati is quirky like that and have odd ball items sometimes, but according to their own literature they should fit.64duc said:I picked up a set of used stock cans off a 99 750 a few years ago that don't fit my 94 900.
