Anyone know the size / type of the little hex bungs that go into the headers on an '01 m900? (and every other non-O2 sensor ducati out there)

I realized the Sil headers I got didn't come with a set, and I'm having a bitch of a time getting the ones in my stock headers are to come out.

So if anyone knows the size / thread, and is willing to share, thanks!

p.s. Huh huh, I said "bung", huh huh.

I don't remember but I measured one and remember that it was an odd thread.
Maybe JIS pipe??
I'll check tomorrow if nobody else chimes in.

1/8" bsp, I think!

Go to a hydraulic hose repair place and they will supply!

Make sure you include a copper washer.

Rob.

PS, if any one knows or can comfirm that would be great.

One of mine is a 6 or 8mm (?) but definately metric, and the other one is smaller.

+1 Should be 1/8 BSP. I can't find anything for that size thread except one of the adapters from the metric adapter sets you get at Autozone - not even from hydraulic hose shops. I did find a thread die at my local Ace Hdwe. I picked one up in case I ever have to make a plug. I also have considered loading the stainless wire into the MIG and plugging one of the bungs quick and easy [laugh]

Pegasus Auto racing has them in stock! ;D

In plastic :'(

Thanks for the help guys

I'll keep looking out there. And if push comes to shove I can always tap it for something slightly larger, or have it simply welded.
