Slightly off-topic, but I'm just curious... My '02 M750 came with D205's, and I really love the things. Once they're warmed up, it seems they can do no wrong.
Are other people not so happy with those tires? I certainly don't consider myself to be an expert rider by any means - most of my time is on an old rubber-frame BMW with rock-hard Metzelers, so it doesn't take much to impress me. But when the 205's wear out, provided they last a reasonable amount of time (so far so good), I'm planning to just put on more of the same... Am I missing something?
