I just heard yesterday that my local Ducati dealership was broken into in the last week and all gear (gloves, helmets, leathers) were stolen. They are the only Ducati Dealer in Ireland and the only dealer of Spidi leathers.
It sucks, cus this kinda stuff is what brings a dealer down. Assuming insurance covers everything, he is still dealing with an increase in premiums and potential lost sales of goods that were not on the floor. This kinda stuff really pisses me off. :'(
Just putting the info out there - I don't expect anything to come of it as they guys were professionals. But it would be nice to think their merchandise will turn up. Anyone with a Spidi suit in Ireland better have a good explanation of where they got it.
