Man, I didn't even know there was a So Cal Monster club running around out there! Glad to hear about you guys and ,uhhhh, can I be a member? I'm trying to jump in before there's dues or something I think I met a few of you guys last year on a ride that originated on the old forum; you know, when it was all e-mail? We had about 6 Monsters and one guy on a 900SS. A good time was had by all. I also made it on the calendar as "Mr. November". Rather, my bike made it....
Anyway, I just wanted to drop in and say Hi. I'm usually up for a ride on Sundays if I'm not working or dodging wind-borne embers. Having said that I suppose there won't be riding for a couple more weeks to let stuff settle down around the east county, although I might venture out this weekend to do a little recon on the area. God, I just had a terrible thought; what if the Lyons Valley Trading Post is gone? Do any of you know? I really feel for those people. I was close to having to beat feet myself and I live a mile from the stadium!
Looking forward to meeting a few old friends again and making some new ones.

Hey Scott, what's up? I kinda dropped off the scene with the DML for awhile 'cause I couldn't take all the e-mail. I'm really impressed with what it's become. And good memory man, I'm in San Diego about a mile from the Qualcomm stadium (football season makes me glad I have a bike!). And in the military too.
I'll get a post up on the map Anthony and thanks for the welcome. I'm looking forward to riding with you guys soon. A quick question- do you encourage "any and all" to come on the rides regardless of Monster ownership? I understand that it's supposed to be predominantly Ducs but I have a couple of buddies, one with a Futura and the other with a Boxer Cup Replica, who I ride with on a regular basis. Would it be cool to invite them along or only on rides that I organize?
