I put a knn filter for my m696 and pros from doing this was it breath better but cons runs a little lean not too bad. So I was thinking to try to drill my baffles to make it sound more meaner. Is meaner means leaner???

how do you know it runs leaner? Have you got a wideband O2 sensor and taken readings?
I put on a ExBox system and got a Bazzaz Zfi with a little tune, Not sure swapping airfilters will require much of a tweak but a exhaust yes.
