I have them and I love the look. You vision is narrowed to a limited range of movement on the bike. In other words, when you change your rideing position you will loose the ability to see anything. I have mine set so I can see when I'm leaned over the tank, but not all the way over.
The vibration is a factor too. It is hard for me to discern vehicle type from 1/4 mile back, but I plan to try some rubber grommets or something to help this.
Overall, including looks factor and uasability, I'd give them an 8.

I believe I saw a set on ebay yesterday. I was just browsing around because I was bored at work and don't remember how I stumbled upon them, but you should be able to find them with keywords like ducati or carbon fiber...

i agree with mrg2k

i have a set on my bike and they certainly look better than the stock mirrors. The rear view is similar to stock just a bit more narrow. i find the view reasonable, but i know alot of riders complain about the usability of the stock mirrors, and like i said, these are even more limited.

as far as looks, i think they're great. next to bar ends, these are probably the cleanest looking mirrors i've seen for a monster.

Its soo.......... ummm.. hard... to..... uhhhhhh.....................

Focus on the mirrors. Eyes want to keep wondering, now maybe if she were holding the tear drops as headlight covers ;)

I have 'em. They look good, but the view is worse than stock. Same all-shoulders-all-the-time position, but much less surface area. And they're completely flat - no convex glass to compensate for the small size.

But did I mention they look good?

I have a pair that are like new that I ended up not using. They have never been installed, and I even have the original Ducati packaging that they came in (although they are not still sealed, I did take them out of the wrap).

Anyways, if anyone is interested, make me an offer. I think I paid $130 (for the pair) from Advanced Motorsports.

I have those mirrors, while they don't offer as much view as stock, they don't look like mickey mouse ears either. I llike their look and I don't have wide shoulders so my view is not obstructed.

Being 6'3" or so I do have quite wide shoulders, but I still get a decent view out of my DP teardrop mirrors. I can easily see a lane on either side of me and directly behind me with mine. Just takes a week or two of riding ad tweaking to get em set up.
