Danny1100 you are better off shaving the current seat as it will be cheaper and you can get lower. That's what I did

I had him mod my stock 696 seat with the supracor padding and to shave a bit off the seat height. It rocks and my first reaction getting on my Duc before I got used to the mods he made were "oooo, cushy" ;D

Much cheaper than the DP seat too.

waaaait!!!

you should know that there will be a nice gap between the edge of the seat cowl and the "low seat." that gap isn't there with a "comfort seat" or stock (obviously) but is with the low one. it's not a small gap either, i think it's quite noticeable.

i'd want to know this before blindly buying one.

Received my low seat today from Commonwealth. Love it!
No gap either.....the cowl actually fits on very tightly.
