"Dry", in that do not drain your coolant then let it stay dry.
I had a small puncture in my radiator, and decided to replace it and do ALOT of work on the S4R. With the radiator fluid out, I let it stay dry for a few months, and this is what I am left with.
Pics 1 and 2 are the connector to the rubber hose from the water pump fan. Notice the corrosion and rust from my neglect.
OUCH.
Pic 3 is the vertical cylinder connector to the rubber hose. Notice the rust residue that trickled down the hose to the connector.
Now I am taking a rotary wire brush on a dremel and cleaning her up. Paranoid as hell, I am looking her over intensly.
Sorry ladies and gentlemen, but this is not just a peice machinery from Italy, this is an emotional and passionate member of my family.
Am I sick????
