How gross motorcycle crash pictures have to be in order for you to go easy on the throttle?

Check www.ogrish.com ([2003-10-30] Motorcycle accident in Cuiaba, Brasil)

Anyway I never go beyond 90...but still.

That is the most f'd up website I have ever seen. Do you regularly browse it? No offense, but I find it rather disturbing that someone would compile such horrible and gruesome things. Who is the poor (or twisted) webdesigner that has to look at that stuff all day long? Were those crash pics from Brazil for real? How on earth could someone just come apart like that?

Well I guess that if you hit concrete or anything like that and you're riding really fast I think that's the correct result. This guy might have been doing 120 or faster, which is suicical.

Again how would you be looking if crashing at slower speed...hitting a concrete pole or pile of metal garbage even at 35 may easily chop your head off that's for sure.

Now this kind of picture saddens me even though I don't give a **** for the guy...when I see punks dressed like they were on a race track riding like morons on the street I'm happy to be myself...I'm no mother theresa.

This kinda works for me.

So you are saying that track safety gear has no place on the street? Am I reading this wrong? I'll take all the protection I can get, thank you.

Ouch, here we go again.

I interpreted the comment to mean that some people act as though safety gear is a license to street ride as though they were on a closed course.

This is not the same as saying that protection is not useful.

I think it is unfortunate people associate "advice" & photos like this. It really has no merit on a motorcycle site.

advice? no not really ride as you wish my friend!

Now if your gear matches your riding behaviour then you're a moron. Also you can get any kind of protection you want but clearly if you ride like if you were on a race track then it'll be useless, the pictures show this.

This works for me.

Ahh... that's much more reasonable. I hope that's what you meant Ducato. If so, I apologize!

Does that mean if I wear full leathers, helmet gloves- standard race gear that I am an idiot? On the contrary I would think more gear is better. As opposed to a squid wearing shorts and sunglasses. The gear they wear doesnt match their riding style....
I personally enjoy riding naked.

ho ho ho, Santa (or his/her helpers) are lurking ...

Be nice to each others,
go ride,
seems that there is a bunch of bad air piling up when you guys/girls are not passing enough gas.
