Hey all you Central-Cal riders...

Ducati North America (corp office in the Bay Area) is working with our club (SFBMHA) in organizing an event in April 2004. You can read the details on it in our club thread.

Basically, DNA wants to host a "tour de office" + ride + lunch that starts at the DNA office to show off the displays, etc.

There was some interest from certain members of the CCMHA group in attending. Any of you people want to attend?

... spoke to DNA yesterday on the phone...

they have room for about 30 - 40 max for a tour (they have cool displays there, etc) and 40+ people on a ride is a bit cumbersome so the SFBMHA/DNA tour will be limited to max 30 - 40 people. SFBMHA has first chance to sign up. I'll keep you people posted on things though.

this doesn't mean that we can't have a HUGE Bay Area rally with the CCMHA and SCMHA together with our group... there are LOTS of cool roads out here.

Well....
being on the waiting list for DNA sloppy seconds doesnt make me real excited.

I am going to plan a DML event for the Spring that everyone that wants to go can attend.
probably to coincide with one of the AMA races.

I think DNA was trying to get our group going, Jeff... i think they just don't want a bunch of hooligans (say 60 people or so) storming in to the offices making a big ruckus with the aftermarket exhausts, etc.

I'd be up for a DML event though! Monterey is just down the street from me! do it at Seca.

ok, im thinking Fontana. cuz we havent been there before.

Laguna is already a full weekend with lots of stuff going on.
Sears is a possibility, and there are probably nicer places to ride around there

As soon as they post the race schedule on the Fontana sight let's pick a date. We can bring the following...... EZ up tent, generator,BBQ,blenders,Ducati signs ;D,lights,CD player,party flag..... You decide what you need. It will not be had to have a monster party down there.
