Hey all you So-Cal riders...

Ducati North America (corp office in the Bay Area) is working with our club (SFBMHA) in organizing an event in April 2004. You can read the details on it in our club thread.

Basically, DNA wants to host a "tour de office" + ride + lunch that starts at the DNA office to show off the displays, etc.

There was some interest from the CCMHA group in attending. Any of you people want to attend?

Maybe we can get a group together to make the trip. Possibly a two-day rice up?

I'd be up for the trip. Day one to Morro Bay, Day Two Hwy One to No Cal.

I would be interested in a ride up in April, depending on workload. Perhaps it can be a long weekend type of thing. April will be somewhat chilly along the coast. A suggestion might be ride up to Paso Robles, can stay at several places there (such as Paso Robles Inn), cut over on 46 to Highway 1, go up 1 all the way to SF. About 7 hours to Paso with lunch stop and fill ups, about same next day.

I'm interested, but it depends on the timing. I have a family vacation in mid-April, so I may not be a factor.

Maybe the SoCal Monsters should ride up, flex some muscle, and get some new batteries.

... spoke to DNA yesterday on the phone...

they have room for about 30 - 40 max for a tour (they have cool displays there, etc) and 40+ people on a ride is a bit cumbersome so the SFBMHA/DNA tour will be limited to max 30 - 40 people. SFBMHA has first chance to sign up. I'll keep you people posted on things though.

this doesn't mean that we can't have a HUGE Bay Area rally with the CCMHA and SCMHA together with our group... there are LOTS of cool roads out here.
