I saw this on the motowheels website for the 999s and was wondering if it could be modified for the monster...Not to sure about the clearance, but it's similar to the Desmobike exhaust...Not really sure how the pipes would need to be fixed/changed to allow for this, since the setups differ on the 999 and monster...Anyone know/think this is possible?

for the price of that system, and the work that would be needed to "fit" it on a monster, you'd really be better off fabbing up something from scratch. or paying somebody to fab up something from scratch. it'll cost less in the end.

using one-off bits on my bike i think adds a cool sort of character, knowing that i'm the ONLY one with that EXACT part. a sort of bragging rights exclusivity. but remember there's a BIG drawback. if you have a get-off and said one-off part is damaged, you're stuck making another one rather than just buying a replacement part!!! this = downtime. downtime = bad.

Strati...agreed on your point...It is always nice to be unique and have that one-of-a-kind look...Unfortunately, as u mentioned, damaging that part will require lots of downtime...so let's just hope that u never go down!!!
