I've attached a couple of pictures that show how my day ended yesterday. I rode my bike to work. I came out about 2pm to run an errand the bike wouldn't start. Turn the key and no gauge sweep, no fuel pump noise, nothing. There was plenty of juice as the lights were strong when I put it in park. I had not left the key in the ignition for the Immobilizer to kick in. The kill switch was not on. I checked all the connections I could find. I don't know what the problem is. The bike got hauled to Matison's through DNA's roadside assistance plan and at 3 weeks old, it should be warranty work. Still, I'm really bummed. I can't seem to win with this bike. It took me 1 month to find it, I had to wait 2 1/2 weeks to take possession of it and then it only lasts 3 weeks before it decides to break down.

I haven't heard anything from Matison's. I don't expect to anytime soon. It arrived just before closing last night.

Feces Occurs,
Ken

They'll probably try to tell you it's because you chopped the tail. ::)

That really sucks man. Things've gotta start going right for you soon.

I am really afraid that they will accuse the tail chop. I didn't cut any wires and used all the stock connectors, I don't see how they could say that, but they probably will.

Ken
I can't believe they would try to correlate a tail chop and a no start. If they do, I'd laugh at them. There is no way in hell they could make that claim work. No way. Mechanically or more importantly, legally.

I think things will get fixed, and on warranty to boot. Even Barnetts fixed something on my bike under warranty. They didn't even whisper the word "mod."

Good luck and let me know if I can help.

Dave
sounds like your ECU died.

sucks ken.

Thats because they thought that thing looked "****ing Great" and wasn't going to say anything...

I don't think you will have an issue Ken....If so.... Road Trip to Charlotte :) [thumbsup]
Maybe a dumb question but did you try your other keys, esp. the red one, just in case your key got killed somehow? My regards as well. I can drop a line to Corse superbikes for a 2nd opinion if you get me details.

I thought of that, but it wasn't nice enough to die at my apartment. I only had one key with me.
That sucks, but I'm sure it'll get taken care of. How's your buddy doing on his Thruxton?

Eric's doing good. He's been getting more saddle time. He rode to work on day this week. He's taking the MSF course this weekend. He's a firm believer in taking his time in getting used to new things. He's also been spending time searching for mods. I think he's about settled on a new set of cans.
any word on your ride?
Sorry to hear about your bike, Hope you get it back soon.

Dam-------It still looks good, even on the back of the tow truck!

No worries, everything will work out.
Ken - have you heard anything from Matison???
Has anybody checked on Ken?

I have been going Thur post Monster depression myself. My close friends have been supporting me by supplying me with large amounts of beer, Hockey and Football but I am still have a hard time dealing with not being able to ride.

Has anybody at least got Ken some beer yet?
Hey Guys,
I've been visiting a friend in Montreal for the weekend. I checked my voicemail. I got a call from Matison's. It was a bad relay. The same relay that went on my M750 right before it was totalled. The funny thing my M750 was totalled before the part arrived. Guess what, this time one was in stock. It was all covered under warranty. I can pick the bike up Tuesday. I get back in town late tonight.
