I have a DP full hugger w/ built in chain guard and would like to cut the tire hugger portion down to make it shorter.

Has anyone cut carbon fiber before? any tips?
I am thinking of just using my basic Dremel w/ cutting wheel after taping it off then seal the edge with brushed on clear coat.

A very short carbon rear hugger/chain guard is what I'm looking for also. Maybe if enough of us want one we could get somone to make a batch for us instead of having to cut em ourselves. What do you think?

already being done dude... feathercarbon.com has short rear huggers. if you want it to match the "ducati performance" carbon fiber's weave, go through armordillocf.com. run by the same dude (thomas). specify that the hugger he makes for the monster s4 will fit your m800 and all will be well. pics on my site of the feathercarbon unit.
