Ive got an oozing valve and I'm wondering what replacment to get ? I'm leaning toward a Nichols ...any other suggestions?

Alot of people have the Nichols, including myself. No problems whatsoever... Nichols produces quality parts.

BCM put a VeeTwo piece on mine. Very nicely machined. Looks nice. Doesn't leak, but then I've had it for 2000 mi.

It cost me $75 so it's a relative bargain.

i've seen the stm's splooge... never had an issue with the nichols unit. i've got about 20k on mine in the 900 after the stocker started leaking.

i'll buy your nichols one and put it on my bike. likely needs some sealer around the base. if not, then a little more torque on the body. nichols parts are literally aerospace quality.

Keep the original crush washer and none of the aftermarket billet breathers should leak from the threads.

The actual reed valve itself is where they differ. No FHE to offer there.

Both STM and Nichols are very good.

The STM is less money and comes in several different colors.

A new crush washer is about a dollar. Change that and use a little sealer like Chris recommends and either one should work fine.
