Hello,

I have a 2003 Monster dark, 803cc and was interested in purchasing Termis, but one shop tells me that I don't need to purchase a new ECU and another shop says i do. ???? Does anyone out there know if I purchase slip-on Termis do I also have to purchase ECU?
Shop #1 quoted $1000 for the slip-ons and $1400 w/ air filter + ECU.
Shop #2 quoted $1100 for slip-ons and they say I don't need an ECU (basically plug and play).
Help, I feel like someone is trying to pull one over on me!

you dont -have- to have the new ecu with slip-ons, but getting the ecu it is already tuned better than the stock settings
if you are just getting pipes without ecu there are many other brands that would be a better deal (unless you really love that termi sticker)
(you can always add a power commander if you want to tweak the tuning later)

I've got a QD midpipe to cancel the Cat. and I have termi slip ons

no problems here..

and after putting lower octane gas it runs even better now..
