Hope this isn't as contentious as the dreaded "oil" topic, but it is getting to be time to replace my clutch, and not being terribly familiar with the dry clutches, I am bewildered by the different replacement clutch types (aluminium, kevlar, carbon fiber). Replacement looks pretty simple, just don't know which set to buy! Any advice is appreciated. Thank you!

Aluminum or steel refers to the drive plates which you probably don't need to replace, so that is moot. Most wet clutches use a kevlar friction plate while most dry clutches use a carbon one. I don't know anything about the Surflex clutches, I've always used Barnett & been perfectly happy.
