Clutch slave cylinder issue maybe

Hello, I am having a hard time getting my 2016 monster 1200 to find neutral. I had pulled the clutch slave cylinder off to change front sprocket and it leaked fluid from the piston. I placed it back on, blead it, the bike will operate the clutch well when running but yet it won’t find neutral to save its life. No idea what is going on as it was fine previously. It only makes sense to me that the clutch works so how could that effect finding neutral yet the issue still exists. I have put almost a pint of brake fluid through it bleeding from the top and from the bottom. But maybe I still have air. Any ideas?

You basically answered your own question. Slave cylinder should not leak at all when just removing the 3 bolts. Especially fluid past the piston.
You should be able to let it hang clear of sprocket, as long as you don't actuate the clutch lever.
Yes, leaking piston and clutch won't operate fully. Replace the slave.
