Hi, i will be putting on clip ons soon (before end of march) for racing and I'm probably going to go the generic brand route as I'll put them on a few days before the race and take them off afterwards for street use. As to the cans, it is always recomendable to have the injection mapped to suit the exhaust mod.. think about it, even DP sell termi cans (keeping cat and downpipes) but they sell these in conjunction with the DP ECU and air filter.
On the other hand, many a biker has put on aftermarket cans and not re-mapped the fuelling and say the bike runs fine.
I'd go for a full 50mm system and a injection remap or tweaked ECU.
