G'day,

I have got high mounted carbon termi's, and thinking about mounting them lower (along swingarm) and closer to headers to shorten distance hanging out the back past the seat(for tail chop).

Are there any pro's / con's in doing this ?
Whats the difference in high vs low mount?
Will I need to get it tuned to suit shorter length of headers?
How much louder will it be (It's already...mmm...well...noticed;D)
Any other information would be handy.

Cheers

You could shorten the pipes a few inches instead. They'll get a bit louder and save you a ton of hassle. It's very easy to shorten them and it looks real nice with the tail chop. I don't believe there's much difference with the tuning and all this way.

I think the main difference is just the way the bike looks.

I currently have a full set of CF Termi's mounted high on my S4. Prior to this I had them slung low and I am much happier with them up high.
