One of my original carbon fiber heel guards has cracked and I would like to repair it. I could just mix up a batch of epoxy and lay a bead of it down the crack, but it would be sort of yellowish in color.

Nobody will ever see the repair once it's on the bike, but I don't really want some other color showing up from the recesses.

Does anyone know of some other product that I could fill in the crack with that would blend a bit better with the dark color?

Thanks. I forgot about Marine-Tex. I used to use that to repair windsurf boards, but then I used white.

That's got to be about the strongest repair material available.

Any other ideas so I don't have to drive 20 miles to West Marine?
