There's been a lot of debate on why the clutch fluid darkens so quickly. No consensus emerged.
But... don't sweat it. Replace it if it bothers you (I usually change every 3 k miles or 6 months).
The clutch hydraulic system isn't really working very hard (nothing like your front brakes), so some potential degraded performance, if ther is any, would never be noticed.
