Just curious how often all of you have to bleed out your brakes and clutch. My clutch seems to get dirty a lot faster than my brakes.

Every two years when I have it in for its 6K, 12K, 18K service.

I don't worry about it much as long as the clutch and brakes work properly, and they always have.

at least once a year... brake fluid absorbs water over time, this will boil out when the fluid reaches temperature, and should be changed out to prevent corrosion... temperature also has a negative effect on the fluid over time.

i'm betting you use your clutch as much or more often than your brakes...

My brake fluid looks really dark, is that normal? 4000miles

are you sure it's dark fluid or is the rubber seal just displacing the fluid as it should? as the fluid level decreases the seal displaces the fluid while keeping air out. if it's the brake fluid... then no that's not normal based on my experience.

There's been a lot of debate on why the clutch fluid darkens so quickly. No consensus emerged.

But... don't sweat it. Replace it if it bothers you (I usually change every 3 k miles or 6 months).

The clutch hydraulic system isn't really working very hard (nothing like your front brakes), so some potential degraded performance, if ther is any, would never be noticed.
