I just installed the Cycle Cat DBR-3s for my 99 900s and I am having a hell of a time figuring out what to do with my throttle cables. I am asking for your advice. The problem is that the cables have to make a sharp turn around the right fork. That is making the cables really tight with no recoil. I have posted links to some large pictures. Check them out and tell me what you think I should do. Thank you!!!

Dunno if having the cables route right down in front of the gauges is bothersome to you, but that's what I did. Hasn't affected my view of the lights much and doesn't bother me.

I can't find a good pic of it, but I'll take one tinoght and post it for ya.

That would be so helpful. Thanks a bunch. Thought about getting shorter cables but I don't think that is the problem. The problem is the angle of the clip-on relative to the stearing head.

Thanks again

Well, I forgot that I have the gauges removed while I try to refurbish the carbon fiber, but hopefully these pics will still help. A guy at my work actually said they make the bike look 'trick' routed that way.

sorry to go off topic, but...

how do you like those redline clip-ons?

I like them a lot. They're semi-adjustable. Not quite as adjustable as the Cyclecats, but hey fit me just fine. as I like a more agressive setup. One thing I found with my coffins is that the 90deg brake banjo hits the guage cluster, so I will be making some 'adjustments' ;)
