I recall reading somewhere that bead-blasting the old finish off stock Brembos can leave them structurally compromised....internet myth or truism?
I know in weapons metallurgy that surface heat treatment is employed to harden receivers and components that encounter high pressures, and only the surface is treated so as not to make the item brittle.
Are the same sort of principles employed in the rims?
Looks like a long winter so I was thinking of having the wheels PC'd
Thanks
