Yeah, one of ICON's backpack holds a helmet. I believe it's also a magnetic tank bag, which doesn't help me since the 695 has a plastic tank.

BTW, I've thought of just getting a nylon strap and buckle at an outdoor store and doing exactly what you described. Thanks.

I think that's the one Teddy has. If so, it's too small for a laptop. We have a Tumi store here in Honolulu, so I'll have to check it out. I think I'm going to get that Tumi Ducati carry on for my travels next year.

Icon Squad Backpack

says it does what you want, not sure about dimensions..

there might be others, but that was the first one I found.
Now that's what I'm talking about [thumbsup] I have a GIVI T432 tank bag on the way. If that can't accommodate a laptop, I might get the ICON.

BTW, I should mention that the reason I want a new bag is because whenever I'm doing stuff around campus, I always have 1 hand tied up because I'm carrying my helmet.

Naw, may be I'll see if ICON will sponsor me!

BTW, what do yo think about the orange? It would totally clash with my bike and gear, but I'm thinking when I'm on base I won't have to use reflective material on it.

Are you trying not to be mistaken for deer by other hunters?
Naw, just trying to work with all these military regs. I swear, and I mean this literally, I think I could roll up in a tank and get on base easier than I could on my bike!

But speaking of deer, here's a sad story. I remember this woman was out it her yard and for some reason she was holding a white napkin. Well, someone shot her. They tried to blame it on her because it was deer season and they said that she shouldn't have been holding the napkin because the hunter saw the white and mistook it for a deer tail.

Blaming the Victim: America's Pasttime.

did anybody bother to ask wtf he was doing aiming for the deer's ass?!?
Well, that's the thing. It was at a distance, the hunter was in the woods, the woman in the backyard . . . he saw white, assumed it was a white-tailed deer and shot at it.

BTW . . . I just realized I've thread-jacked myself! Back to bags . . .
