I didn't even know there were backpacks that came with a "helmet holder." You can sew a buckle onto your backpack for some $5. Just drop by the local fabric store and pick a buckle and a foot of nylon strap material. I sewed a bunch of buckles onto my school backpack so I could carry an extra jacket and a drawing tube without them flopping all over the place.
