Anyone know of a backpack that can do both? I have a medium sized laptop---D820 with a 15.4" screen.
bag pack with laptop sleeve AND helmet holder

I didn't even know there were backpacks that came with a "helmet holder." You can sew a buckle onto your backpack for some $5. Just drop by the local fabric store and pick a buckle and a foot of nylon strap material. I sewed a bunch of buckles onto my school backpack so I could carry an extra jacket and a drawing tube without them flopping all over the place.

Yeah, one of ICON's backpack holds a helmet. I believe it's also a magnetic tank bag, which doesn't help me since the 695 has a plastic tank.
BTW, I've thought of just getting a nylon strap and buckle at an outdoor store and doing exactly what you described. Thanks.

I think that's the one Teddy has. If so, it's too small for a laptop. We have a Tumi store here in Honolulu, so I'll have to check it out. I think I'm going to get that Tumi Ducati carry on for my travels next year.HyperM3 said:

BTW, what do yo think about the orange? It would totally clash with my bike and gear, but I'm thinking when I'm on base I won't have to use reflective material on it.

Naw, just trying to work with all these military regs. I swear, and I mean this literally, I think I could roll up in a tank and get on base easier than I could on my bike!HyperM3 said:

They tried to blame it on her because it was deer season and they said that she shouldn't have been holding the napkin because the hunter saw the white and mistook it for a deer tail.

Well, that's the thing. It was at a distance, the hunter was in the woods, the woman in the backyard . . . he saw white, assumed it was a white-tailed deer and shot at it.simonster said:
