It seems like the pads take a long time to bed in. My OEM rear brake was basically hopeless until about 1000 miles, at which point it had improved to dreadful while developing a nasty squall.

Replaced it with a BrakeTech iron full floating rotor and Ferodo platinum pads. Now it's a pretty good brake, and is totally silent. It took a while for the Ferodo pads to bed in too.

My front brakes were awesome from the start, they're like dropping an anchor.

My only suggestion is not much help, really. Just give 'em some time. It sounds like you've covered the standard procedures, bleeding and deglazing.
