I just received the custom painted gas tank I bought from JE Illusions. The pictures of it did not do it justice. If anyone is look to get custom paint work done I highly recommend him. He is great to do buisness with. Lots of straight forward honest commuication. I will be sending him my fenders and a belly pan to have done to match the tank. I will post pictures once I get it all together. 20 years ago I use to paint for Jonh Deere. I know quality but, anyone can see his work is beautiful.

I'am looking for risers and handle bars that will rise at least 1.5'' and in about that much for an S4 any suggestion? Will the triple tree and riser/handlers on a S4R work on a S4?

The whole project was done for around $650-700... I have to lie a little here because I got a way good deal because I helped out with the project! But my painter said he would charge 6-700 for the work we did. The tank alone.. probably 200-300

200-300? thats it? man all I want is the corse job on the tank. i'll get the decals for the fender and cowl myself. So does this guy just get your tank in the mail, or what? I'm guessing that since you helped him he's local to you, but what are my options if I live 1000 miles away? Thanks again!

I will have pictures up in a couple of days. You really have to see it to apreicate it. I drove it to work today and one guy walking by whipped around and said "Oh [email protected]#!" He had never seen paint change colors like that.

I saw a monster in Phili a few weeks back painted the same copper color of the new Nissan Z. It looked really good. I might have some pictures of it. I will lhave to see.
