Some people have reported Rain-X causing hazing on certain types of shields.

I know other people who have used it for years with no problems.

I use some stuff called Kryptonite that I bought at Laguna-Seca (You know, those guys that clean your sunglasses for you...). Works good on my shield and sunglasses.

So that stuff really works? Cool. Marty can't use the Rain/X on his shield.

i bought some stuff called Kat Krap at the local sporting goods store. Its not 100% antifog but it definatly doesnt help prevent fogging and if you do start to fog up its no where near as problematic.

I think i'll try the FogCity stuff myself.

isn't the fog city stuff actually a press-on sheet? i think you might get some distortion on the clarity of the shield.

Yes, it is a press on sheet.
No, no distortion. I had one on one of my helmets, about 2 years... no problems with distortion. You'll probably need a new face shield before you have problems with the Fog City piece...
