I have a '99 M900S that i love, but the stock gauge cluster has some serious chemical burn that makes it hard to read the lights and gauges. It also does't have a tach as its stock.
Instead of buying the stock cluster again for $700 I wanted to try to use autometer gauges, like I used to use in my muscle car builds.
I know that the only tach autometer makes that uses a single pulse ignition is the Phantom II series, and i would have to use an electronic speedo as the gearing for any of the car based speedoes is way off for a bike.
Anybody done this with actual success? Anyone done something similar with different parts?
All i need is a working tach and speedo with an odometer to track my gas usage.
