Are Chromo Monsters harder to keep?

I was always under the impression that the Chromo Monsters were harder to maintain.

Is it harder to keep it looking clean & do the scratches show more on a Chromo than the other colors?

Personally I think they are easier to keep clean. I just windex the tank whenever it gets dirty...who needs soap and water! ;D
I would go with much easier too. Chrome is a very hard surface. Much harder to scratch them paint or gel coat. And it you do, you can buff it out completely.

My bike isn't a real "Chromo", I had it chromes by a local industrial plating company. But I've never heard any complaints about the quality of the chroming on the "Chromo" bikes.
A little easier I would think. I just give the tank a good wiping with a soft cloth and it shines up quick. Every once in awhile I use a chrome product.....maybe once or twice a year and even then it only takes a couple minutes.
