The 800 has a wet clutch. The 1000 has a dry clutch. While Ducati may move to wet clutches on the bigger engines due to noise regulations, but I doubt if the APTC slipper device will make it to the big engines.

Do you think we will see the s2r800 clutch on the s2r1000 in the near future seems to me alot of comment is it would be a wecome addition maybe when the 800 is withdrawn?
