 Well, good for "occupant," if he crashed like that and then was physically capable of telling someone not to notify the authorities!

That is a good-scarey-story. The good part is the road and the ride, the scarey part is that a homicidal idiot resorts to using his car as a weapon for no good reason. I don't care if the guy had given him the flying fickle finger of fate, that is still no reason to behave in such a mind-numbingly stupid way.
I - luckily - have had no such altercations yet. I have had jokers waiting to turn left in front of me pull into my lane a few feet very quickly just to see my eyeballs pop out of my head. No fun.

Great stuff, right move on the authorities, vehicles are deadly weapons when wielded by idiots.

Last weekend I had an SUV piloted by a crazed suburban yuppie inches from my back tire. Evidently he was pissed that I got off the line at a light before the road merged from 4 lanes into 2 lanes of twisties.

So he needed to prove something....not sure what...maybe that he was planning to go faster than me or something...I dunno

but he did almost prove that he could roll a Navigator doing 55mph on a 25 mph curve trying to keep up with me

great show in the bar-ends of him all over the road trying to stabilize his sh!t wagon....whatever....snapped him out of his pathology cycle and he kept his distance

they're sick out there and getting sicker

You should see the **** I put up w/ on a bicycle.. was riding last night in a fairly populous area w/ some lady friends and some guy in an SUV turns left while we were turning right, hits the inside curb and almost rolls it onto the lady friends.. He passes me and I give him the thimbs up for his thougtful, courteous driving (and it was a thumbs up, not the middle digit) and he starts to stop, but evidently thought better of it.

Idiots..

Wow, glad you are all okay. I tell ya, I run into these kind of people almost daily around here. MS campus is full of people who are driving around in their H2's, Navigators, and zippy sports cars. The scary part is that many of them have only recently learned to drive.

To the point. I was cut off 3 times today! I think I'll start wearing a bright pink bunny suit when I ride to work from now on....

Here's a perfect example of the kind of people we're talking about: http://demo.myshots.net/ (Check out the H2 gallery) ::)
