My bike should be coming into Santa Fe Springs (23 miles up the 5 from Irvine) mid-week next week.

My plan is to have my wife drop me off, and I'll fire it up and ride it back. But, then I thought, what if it doesn't start for some reason? It will have been in shipping for a couple of weeks with an empty gas tank, and who knows if the battery is going to be charged still.

I'd be bummed because it will be at the North American Van Lines dock, and I'd have to leave it there!

I know it's a lot to ask (but what the heck!) - if there's anyone in OC that has a couple of hours and a pickup truck next week, and is willing to help, I'll buy ya a nice lunch!

I'm very excited to get the bike! I had bikes fairly constantly for around 15 years, but sold my last one 5 years ago.

I'm also nervous! Given that I bought the bike sight unseen, I'm hoping for no major surprises.

CONGRATULATIONS.

I have serious 900 envy at this point. Why did I buy a 750? I don't mind the power..but no dry cllutch? Do only the 900's have the dark engine cases?!

Way Cool!!! Hey Scott how are ya at LONG distance moves ;D Ill be in SoCal by the 17th of Nov. then back on a plane to fly back and get my truck, trailer and Duc. I cant wait
