i want your opinion of them as far build quality, if they fit right out of the box, where you can move your feet from stock position. and anything else you might have to say about them. gathering feed back since i can't seem to find any to help aid my decision.

I have them for my S2R. I'm happy with them. They are much better than the stockers. The ones that fit on your bike are different from mine, so I can only speak on the S*R models. Install was easy. The only compaint I had was that the return spring on the brake lever is acutally a rubberband. I fixed that with a stainless steel coil spring from McMaster Carr.
I have Rizoma biposto rearsets (Alu7075: PE201B and PE568B) on my M900 (dual sided swingarm style). They are very well made except, as pnut noted, the rubber band brake return is chintzy. Easy fix with a new spring.

Adjustability is decent. I am 6' with a 33" inseam and have them set in their vertically lowest, centred position and they've very comfortable. Apparently they do not have the range of adjustability of Cyclecat's rearsets, but I like the biposto appearance of the Rizomas with their folding rear pegs. Brake and shift levers are also very adjustable. Rizoma's alumifiber heel guards are also very cool.

i appreciate the feedback. do you have a rough idea of how far back the foot rests can be moved from stock? 1" 2"?

I don't know exactly how far back from stock settings the foot rests can be adjusted, but my guess is somewhere around 2". The highest position is probably about 2" higher than stock. That's just a rough guess though.

Sorry but I can't do any measurement comparisons between the stock and Rizoma rearsets as right now my bike is disassembled.

how much further back would you say they go compared to stock, i need to go 1 inch back or .75 inch back and .25 inch down or 1.5 back and .5 up to fit the bike perfectly. ..contour to the gas tank... i am 6.1 so i do not need to go much higher, maybe a .5 for clearance... i would actually like to go 2 inches back and 1 inch up from stock.. can the rizoma do this on a M900.
