A quick question for those of you who may have the STM clutch pushrod pin on your bike (the one with the bearing inside). It seems that after installing the pin, my pressure plate disengages unevenly. It does fully disengage, but one side pulls away from the clutch pack first.

Is this a function of the bearing inside the pin allowing the plate to pivot a little on the pushrod end? Is this normal for the STM pin?

I put in new stainless springs and a spider retainer as well, so I'm assuming that the spring tension is fairly even.

Check the five (six?) bolts holding the pressure plate on. Are they all tight?

Take off the plate. Check the spring overall length. There is a spec for how long they should be, but as a start, make sure they are all the same.
