I rode the couch 0 miles and it was 70 degrees. Quite pleasant.
340 miles today but in my Mazda Protege. Another 340 give or take a couple of 100 tomorrow on my way back from Baltimore.

Does anyone know a more picturesque drive down from Richmond rather than just 95/85?
Rode Friday and Saturday and it was actually kind of hot - especially since I forgot to take my winter liner out [laugh]

Sunday was really chilly with the temp in the low 50s but 30mph wind gusts made it feel like 30s. Still great riding days [thumbsup]

It rained here all day Sunday :(
I rode in to work today and WOW! I've never ridden when it's been this cold - temperature 32 with wind chill at 24, so on the bike it was...much colder.

My Tourmaster Flex jacket rocks and my longjohns under my pants were okay (I still have to buy the overpants). But my "winter gloves" from First Gear didn't fare too well. I'm going to have to buy liners coz my hands were freezing.

Riding home tonight is going to be interesting.
yeah buddy.... i have to ride out to get my hair cut.... thats going to suck. I should get someone to drop me off by the car lot... but i really want to sell my car...

Just flipped 9000 miles on the bike in 13 months... not bad!!!
Not bad at all! I've got to go in for my 6,000 since I just passed it. :embarassed:
i broke out my Burton Snowboard gloves as my new winter gloves ... unfortunately i haven't gotten the chance to try it yet ... i had a belt tensioner bolt break in half when i was adjusting the belts this weekend. :(

Ouch, holy crap!! Will it be difficult to extract??

i got it out ... i had to chip away the head of it with a chisel, then remove the tensioner assembly over the remaining bolt. after that i could turn it by hand.

now i'm just waiting on the new bolt to get here from duc seattle ... they were supposed to ship it last tuesday, but i assume the holiday may have extended its travel time.

nonetheless ... i haven't ridden the bike in about 2 weeks.

ps- http://www.ducatimonster.org/smf/index.php?topic=65449.0 ... this is what i was dealing with.
