Couldn't find the answer with a search back through a year, so:
When just changing the fork oil in the Showa non-adjustables, it looks like I only need to remove the top bolt, compress the spring and remove top bolt from damper rod, then release and remove spring and spring tube and pump out the oil.
Am I correct that it is not necessary to disturb the bottom bolt except to remove the internals for service beyond oil and/or spring?
