the only thing to add is that one of the nuts are left hand thread. if you look at the link rod one end will have a groove machined into it about 5mm from the end. that is the left hand thread end.
both nuts will break free in the same direction, then just spin the link rod to adjust.
don't forget to re-tighten after you are done.
