Looks like someone is about to steal an S4 on Ebay. A 2002 with 3 hrs left, reserve met, $7,600! Only 2,500 miles, Sil Ti hi-mounts. I pd $8K for a stock S4 and thought I stole it. I can't believe S4s with such low mile for the price of an 800! Located in Austin.

In dec of 2002, only 4 months after I paid $12K for my new 02 S4, one was on ebay for $8k no reserve. I called the guy and almost went over in person to check it out. Not crashed, no legal encumberances, low miles also. It was local here in the Boston area.
It went 2 full ten day ebay periods and DID NOT SELL, no bids. I almost bought it ...just because. If it is bone stock, it is a good, but fair price, for IMHO a great bike. The higher servicing cost may be a factor in it's lower desireabilty by some.

Is this the old new v. used bike price/depreciation problem or do S4s bring less? Are 2Vs king when it comes to Monsters?
