Paranoia set in when I changed oil & filter and checked the filter screen.

I change oil and filter every 1500 miles and check/clean the screen every 3,000.

I'd ride it.

That's what I'm doing to mine. I saw similar metal at 9000 mi. Shop (BCM) didn't seem too concerned. I'm not.

Only time I found metal on my screen was after the clutch slave had failed and I grunted the poor thing home 25 miles by gear slamming on a slow roll a few times...that was 4k miles back....all seems to be well and the screen is clean on the past 2 oil changes
