nice pics Geoff! [clap]
looks like you two are starting to challenge Melvin in the Bling Dept.
Peps you have an account with PJs yet for all the rizoma?
Peps keeps suggesting that this or that would look good, and I think "yeah, it would - and if I put one of these on, and one of those". If I had never found the DML I'd be richer, but I wouldn't have had nearly as much fun with the bike.

nice [thumbsup]
finally something to look at, rather than reading social pages mixed with a solid dose of "im so witty"
is it a rizoma belt cover? seems so
how does the ohlins damper feel?
joe, the rizoma blinkers look cool but the tray has to go
what's on the front?
where are the pics of clip-ones and triple clamp?
good quality photo's; thanks
ps
what camera/lens did you get
Peps has the Rizoma belt cover with the nice see-through bits. High blinkers are dazzlingly bright, much better than my DP ones that can hardly be seen in daylight at a distance - or so some riding buddies tell me.
The damper has smoothed the skittishness out of the high speeds - the bike is a lot more stable and confidence inspiring now. It also helps when the front wheel gets occasionally elevated - stops the sharp twist when it hits the deck. Basically, it makes up for some rider deficiencies. The side mount steering damper is a bit cheaper than the top mount, arguably works better, and looks a bit more aggressive. One of my friends suggested I could do handbag snatches with the rod sticking out the front (now there's a way to pay for more mods >

)
But... I'm still having some handling problems on high speed corners (if you follow the suspension discussions in the Tech forum you might have noticed a few questions from me)
Triple-clamps haven't arrived yet, so the clip-ons will stay unphotographed until all is in place. Anyway, it's a bit hard to see them through all of the controls, cables, and brake lines.
The camera is a Canon G7. The digital SLR's are tempting, but they're bulky to carry around and the underwater housings for them cost more than the cameras. The compacts (the G7 is a good compact - it's even got a little neutral density filter that flips over the lens) take good photos, especially if the subject is reasonably close, have affordable and reliable underwater housings, and don't get in the way too much when diving. Trouble is, I like the G7 so much I'm a bit reluctant to take it underwater now, since my last camera drowned when I didn't have the housing properly sealed.
Thanks for the compliments - I'll put some more bike-porn up when the next bits arrive (and I'll clean the bike first next time)
