almost anything is possible, but it won't just bolt up, it will require a good amount of work on your part. Making mounts to attach the plastics usually requires welding on frame connectors

That's what I was thinking, but I would probably have modify parts to make it fit right? I can't just weld the new body straight on?

No they would not. Could you make it work with extensive fabrication and custom work? Of course.

Besides, "welding" plastic to metal results in a puddle of burnt plastic. Stick to bolt-ons, or buy an 848.

Ah, that's a bummer... 848's are beautiful; just not practical for the street. 848 looks + 696 mechanics would be amazing. Wishful thinking.
