I'm interested to know how to mount a 748 upper fairing to a M750. I'm eying a used one that has slight damage and think it would make a mean looking track bike feture.

Does anyone know how to mount it?

I made custom mounting brackets. Used 1/2" aluminum tubing and bent with a hand bender. Then mounted to holes on the upper triple. The new style monsters are different and would need a different style. I had to cut a solid round piece of stock and slip in the end of the tubing, then drill through both for mounting bolts to go through. They used to break with all the wheelies. Not anymore. On the fairing side, I put nutserts in the end of the tubing and JB Welded them in. Bolt goes through fairing and into end of tube. Use the rubber mounted inserts or fairing will crack. This is also a carbon/kevlar fairing and lighter than stock. You may have to use more stout tubing.

On the cover page, on the right click "here" for more info. Last pic at the bottom shows the basic mounting tube. Will try and get some more pics this weekend. Here is a couple

On the bottom I zip tied the fairing to the U shaped bracket. Last pic is of my first time I rebuilt the bike. That is a stock fairing with the carbon headlight armor. Holes were cutout and it was siliconed into the fairing. Driving Lights were behind. I still have the carbon piece with the holes if anyone is interested.
