hey guys,

ive recently purchased the dp termi kit for my 696. the high flow airfilter came dry, so i sprayed it with the pink k&n oil and installed it.

should i have oiled the filter or installed it dry?

iam thinking i may have blocked it up by oiling it???

should i now remove it and clean it?

thanks

it is a K&N filter. you may have oversaturated it, but no don't run it dry.

thanks for the reply,

luckily i didnt put a lot of oil on it :)

but i wasnt aware it was a k&n as it was white and dry, and it didnt come with any oil to put on it.

wonder why it didnt come pre oiled?
