I know that there are others out there that had the same issue with their temp gauge as I did.
After about 2 weeks of riding (not straight through) the temp gauge stopped reading 'LO' when started, instead it would read about 150.
Well, at my first service (although late) I mentioned it, they checked it out, and then replaced that puppy, it was reading about 60 degrees high.
When riding it used to read around 260, and now at temp it reads about 220-230.
so yeah, it was all messed up.

so, mine was replaced.

have fun.

Is this a recall item? My bike does this, but I just thought it had a ramp down time and when that time was out that it stopped updating. So when I get on the bike a day later the temp gauge still reads in the 120's or more. I have also ran in the 260 range and a little higher.

the word recall was never mentioned, but yes, was covered under warranty.

bike is all happy now, and so am I, as now I can tell what temps the bike is at and also helps with proper warm up.
